Why does the honey’s color and texture vary?

Honey is a natural product and the color and consistency will vary slightly from time to time. Some differences of our natural honey includes but DOES NOT have any effect on the honey:

Slightly to very thick consistency
Golden to dark brown color
Grainy texture (crystallization of the sugar in the honey)

To reduce the natural crystallization, place the honey bottle in very warm water (not boiling) until crystals dissolve. The warmth will safely break down the crystals without harming any medicinal benefits.

I've used Kiva Manuka honey for wound healing (doctors were astonished at the results) and most recently to resolve lingering illness after getting covid for the first time. I ordered it directly from the manufacturer because I wanted to support them and trusted them more than Amazon. However, after several days of not receiving a notice that it had been shipped, I finally ordered a jar on Amazon because I really needed something to help me recover. Over a week later I was literally just about to contact Kiva for a refund when the jar arrived. I just had never received notification that it had shipped. So, ordering directly from Kiva wasn't a great experience, but I still rate their actual honey 5 stars.

It is now just stuck in a paper envelope with no protection or insulation. Also, it seems the quality of the honey is not the same. I start my day with lemon water and a tea spoon of Manuka UFM20+ honey from Kiva. It gives me energy for the day. Product was as good as ever. But would appreciate having it shipped from Hawaii as all times previously. Receiving from, I guess, a distribution warehouse in Port Allen, Louisiana via Amazon was unacceptable. The packaging was inferior, not padded and wrapped as nicely and the delivery took just as long to come 24 miles from Port Allen as it did from Hawaii via USPS, one week.
